Other Critical Facts:
- Two separate JMPT studies demonstrated that surface EMG is more reproducible than palpation in measuring abnormal muscle tone.
- Three separate independent reproducibility studies were performed on the Insight sEMG, all three of which demonstrated reproducible results.
- In addition, surface EMG is also much more sensitive than palpation- there has to be 20% change in muscle tone before the changes can be detected with the hands, whereas sEMG picks up muscle abnormalities in microvolts [one millionth of a volt].

In the scientific community, there are generally three criteria that must be met to determine efficacy of an outcome assessment system, and the Insight technologies meet them all:
1. Have the applications, indications, normatives and protocols for the tests been published in a peer-reviewed journal?
The Insight Subluxation Station is the only system on the market that meets this requirement.
2. Is the test taught at a CCE accredited chiropractic college?
The Insight Subluxation Station technologies are now being taught and used in the clinics of five [5] CCE accredited chiropractic colleges in the U.S.- Parker Chiropractic College, Palmer-Florida, Northwestern, Life University, and Life West. The Insight Millennium is the only one of its kind to be registered with the FDA and HealthCanada as a Class II Medical Device. INDEPENDENT STUDIES PERFORMED ON THE INSIGHT SUBLUXATION STATION:
An independent lab test was performed on the Insight Subluxation Station at the New Zealand Chiropractic College, which demonstrated that the Insight had "reliable" reproducibility results (3).
